Superstar Krishna in his prime time was a King. He had enviable fan following. During 1969 and 1972, Andhra Pradesh was rocked by Telangana and theJai Andhra movements respectively.
Jai Andhra movement started on Mulki issue. The Supreme Court declared on the 3rd of October, 1972 that the Mulki rules were valid and were in force. The agitation continued, President’s rule was imposed in the State on the 10th of January, 1973.
Krishna supporting the agitation for separate Andhra state issued a paper statement expressed his sympathy to those who had lost life in Jai Andhra movement.
Now, Krishna cannot do so publicly though his heart may beat for united Andhra Pradesh.
